Description: Join Praesidium and FADICA for a conversation on safeguarding reporting protocols, including mandated civil reporting. Guided by Praesidium, nonprofit organizations will critically reflect on their responsibility to respond to red-flag behaviors and policy violations, as well as incidents and suspicions of abuse within their programs. Beyond domestic obligations in the United States, Praesidium will also share its experience with the challenges presented in international reporting standards. Finally, Praesidium will address historical allegations of abuse – what to do, the individuals and entities that need to be notified inside and outside of one’s organization, and how to best prepare for historical allegations before they happen.
