Description: Join FADICA and Praesidium for a conversation about how organizations can thoughtfully and appropriately respond to red-flag behaviors, boundary violations, and other safeguarding incidents. Using case studies and real-life examples, we will identify initial safeguarding concerns, highlighting how responsible staff members and governing bodies can react to and manage concerns. Research shows that perpetrators of abuse need access, privacy, and control. By examining incidents through these three lenses, together we will pinpoint opportunities for early intervention, as well as long-term changes that organizations can make to prevent abuse.
